October 25, 2008Saturday morning field trip with the Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society to visit several popular birding areas along the southern San Francisco Bay. We started at Alviso Marina County Park, then Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge, then Charleston Slough.
Highlights: GREEN-WING TEAL, AMERICAN WHITE PELICANs, NORTHERN SHOVELER.
