Sunday morning birding in San Francisco with the Santa Clara Valley Audubon field trip to check out several inlets and parks along the San Francisco Bay shoreline. The rain held off until just before the end of the morning.
I observed 54 bird species; the highlights being close-up views of BLACK OYSTERCATCHERS, LONG-BILLED CURLEW, & many GULLS. Also saw a Red-breasted Merganser in Heron's Head Park.
